Calligraphy: words that look good, sound good
Calligraphy; an ancient art of writing scripts beautifully with various tools to add an expression to words. It is a distinct form of art, which demands precession, patience.

It is a piece of cake only for those who know how to do it right. We are proud to have one such talented calligrapher in the Elixir house; Nilesh D Kamble.

Nilesh says, "Now with thousands of fonts available on a click, actual calligraphy gets side lined some times. But with the new-gen kit like pen-tablets, it becomes easy for calligraphers like me to save money on ink and papers: also keeps me safe from my mom's yelling for dirtying my clothes with ink splatters ; )
Nilesh adds, "Calligraphy is my favourite form of art apart from drawing and painting. Being different from other art forms, it needs different tools and practise. I
remember my professor made me draw a same stroke over a hundred times. It is more mood-bound than time-bound. The soul of it all is to make your strokes speak more than the words you actually write. Controlling your very own hand is the toughest thing to do in calligraphy. It is a fragile form of art and demands tons of dedication and a calm temperament. Quitting really does not fly around here: even if you have to repeat the same word over a hundred and one times. Even a twig or a shaving brush can create astonishing calligraphic effects. Its experimenting that creates wonders."

No matter how many fonts the internet provides, it won't be the same and diverse as the actual calligrapher does it. I love calligraphy. For me, it is a form of meditation which I do regularly."
