Our brand new website:
the spring in our walk |
|
|
|
In this day of Information Technology, good is only good, if it keeps getting better. Our earlier website design was a hit in its own time, doing well in terms of detail, aesthetics and a friendly user interface. With passing time, we still are a step ahead of the competition and recently we have felt the need for better representation that called for a new and improved website.
Simplicity is such a thing that it does not shout for attentions but instead uses that same strength to power the biggest and most complex communication projects. We prefer to let our work speak for us through client appreciation than to blow our own trumpets; this is why our awards showcase nothing more than the market's appreciation of our work.
So please do visit our website and you shall see how we drive people into action. |

Tata Chemicals' 'PACT' creates an impact |
 |
 |
|
|
Every organization has it's set of Values and Cultural Pillars. The success of the organization depends on these cultural pillars and also when every employee lines up with these values and cultural pillars. The challenge was to make these cultural pillars more understanding for every single employee of Tata Chemicals. The campaign was named 'Do the PACT' - (P-Proactive Cost Focus, A-Agile execution, C-Collaborative Innovation, T- Trusting Relationships) |
and PACT literally also meaning agreement between individuals or parties.
With this campaign, we created a sense of ownership and belonging that binds the employees even closer to their organisation. The campaign got appreciation by the employees of Tata Chemicals across the globe. |

This article would be showing us ways of how we can inculcate and initiate some small steps to contribute towards the
Eco-balance. If you have some more stories to share, you can share them with us on u2view@elixirdesigns.com.
Come join the Eco-revolution. |
As you sow so shall you reap; let's start it from our own back-yard. |

As a famous quote says, "God loved birds so he made trees."
So how about, you adopt a tree. We often hear people, adopting children, pets, etc.
Trees are the very root of the environment chain.
We have been destroying trees to widen our cityscapes. Now, is our chance to repair, the damage. Adopt a tree today... because nurturing a tree is like nurturing a friend for life. If each family commits to nurture a sapling into a tree, imagine the amount of trees we can add to the environment, considering our population; which is estimated to be 1.22 billion this year.
|
Looking at the green side, one tree produces 260 pounds of oxygen. It takes about 22 trees to produce the amount of oxygen that one person uses. On an average, an acre of trees produces enough oxygen for 18 people. A single mature tree can absorb carbon dioxide at a rate of 48 lbs per year and release enough oxygen back into the atmosphere to support 2 human beings.
This is an alarming fact that reminds us that, we need to payback our planet with something more, than just pollution. If we repair the root of all the problems, we can contribute our part to resolve mammoth problems like Global Warming. |

With the New year we are already sprinting towards our goals, resolutions and ambitions. Just as our toes are pacing, let's see a story which Designikant has brought for us. This is the story of a small logo, which changed the fortune of a company that sprinted towards success. |

Nike's Fortune cookie came in just for US$35 |
Nike as we all know today: is a statement brand. A statement of winning that needs no explanation. From a shoe brand to a multi millionaire brand that endorses and is favourite of the best sports men on planet earth and sponsors nearly all of the most great sport events. Even a 5yr old goes to the store and tells his/her mom
"I want those snickers! The one with a 'swoosh' on it."
Lets peep in this Swoosh history.
The "swoosh" was born out of a doodle from a designer named Carolyn Davidson. She created at least half-a-dozen different marks and gathered them... |
